A word of warning

Negotiating on legal fees - a word of warning.

For the lawyer, the actual fees are only a small part of the relationship. More important, usually, is the lawyer's perception of the value the client places on his or her services. If the lawyer feels undervalued, they will be demotivated and therefore less efficient.

Don't negotiate resentment into the relationship!

  1. Negotiating on the legal fees always makes the lawyers a bit demotivated or sometimes they'll just drop the deal or had it done by other lawyers instead of them. Its normal to negotiate the legal fees. But please, be reasonable! While i was working in Australia, a conveyancing Adelaide relieves me from this kind of burden. Since its a reputable company, this kind of negotiation comes around a little compare to other companies.
